Introducing Binya Cultural Impact Consulting Services
Since 2022, Binya has been curating and retailing Lowcountry and Gullah artisan gifts and accessories. Our store opening 2 years ago seems like yesterday! (Check out our grand opening party 2022 on our photos page by visiting here). Like anything, we’ve evolved over the last several years and can say that today, we’re so much more than a store.
It has become clear that Binya aims to educate all people about the Gullah culture, inspire conservation and love of the Lowcountry, and positively impact the community. In the last two years, it’s also become clear that we are so much more than a retail store.
We are proud to introduce you to: Binya Cultural Impact Consulting, which is a new division of Binya designed to help organizations impact the local community by becoming more socially responsible and connecting with the local culture. In many ways, this is what we have already been doing — but now we just have a division dedicated to the services.
We believe in starting with the why and so it’s important to share WHY Binya Cultural Impact Consulting has been founded. We believe we can positively transform the Lowcountry by creating a place where Gullah culture is appreciated and respected through educating tourists and residents alike. We believe this will make a difference in our community.
We believe through working with Binya Cultural Impact Consulting that organizations can become more socially responsible and have enhanced cultural competency, improved diversity, equity, and inclusion practices, increased cultural awareness and sensitivity, have expanded global impact, and enhanced public image and reputation. These are just a few of the positive outcomes of an organization working with Binya Cultural Impacting Consulting.
