Join us during the Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park Anniversary week for a stimulating discussion on the importance of educating our community and most importantly, our children, about the story of Mitchelville. A panel of community leaders, Mitchelville descendants, and teachers will come together to share why it’s especially important to share the story in our schools, followed by a Q&A session with SC State Legislators on how we can do so.
