Southeast Regional Sea Turtle Meeting

The bi-annual Southeast Regional Sea Turtle Meeting (SERSTM) will be held in Hilton Head from February 4-6, 2025, at the Sea Turtle Friendly Certified Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa. This is an incredible opportunity for all sea turtle enthusiasts to gather and learn from renowned scientists about the latest research and findings in the field of sea turtle conservation.

This year’s theme is “Navigating Challenges, Optimizing Solutions.” At this point in our decades-long sea turtle conservation journey, we are seeing some successes but they often come hand in hand with new or increased challenges. Some of these demand new solutions, but many require that we re-examine and refine current efforts. At this meeting our sea turtle community will gather in workshops, sessions, keynote addresses, and social events to share ways to navigate these issues and optimize our actions.
