Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts (or thighs)
- 1 cup smoky peach BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh peaches, sliced (for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken with the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours if you have time) in the refrigerator for better flavor.
2. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
3. Grill the Chicken: Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on one side. Flip the chicken and brush a generous amount of smoky peach BBQ sauce on the cooked side. Grill for another 6-7 minutes, basting with more sauce as it cooks.
4. Check for Doneness: Ensure the chicken is fully cooked; it should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
5. Serve: Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve with additional smoky peach BBQ sauce on the side. Garnish with fresh peach slices and chopped cilantro or parsley.
More Tips: This smoky peach BBQ sauce can also be used on ribs, pulled pork, or grilled vegetables for a delightful twist. Pair with coleslaw and cornbread for a complete meal.
