Young’s Foods: A Carolina Tradition

Young’s Premium Foods was started back in the 1920s when TB Young began growing pecans in the Carolinas. The soil was rich and favorable in climate for growing lively crops, and because of this TB’s pecans were notable for their size and texture. TB’s son began shelling pecans and selling them in the 1940s to supermarkets and direct consumers. That’s when they officially got their start!

Young’s Foods are located in Florence, South Carolina, and offer sixteen different gourmet pecans that are all equally delicious (and equally addicting!) Their onsite bakery, if you ever have a chance to visit, has an array of baked goods like pies, muffins, pralines, breads, and so much more. They take a substantial amount of pride in their goods, and here at Binya, we do too.

Binya is thrilled to be carrying some amazing pecan brittle and pecan pies. These are so delicious and absolutely perfect for this holiday season! Instead of grabbing a pie from the grocery store, or spending your time to make one yourself, get one of Young’s from Binya and we promise you will not regret that decision. They are small and are individually wrapped, so it’s a perfect treat for yourself.

Beyond their extensive list of bakery goods and long list of flavored pecans, Young’s Foods strives to serve up southern hospitality in every good they make. Its the Southern hospitality we all know and love, served wherever you are at your front door. Young’s really brings a piece of the South to their treats and introduces it in a way that we just can’t get enough of.

Stop by Binya and grab a pecan pie on your way out! You’ll see why Young’s Premium Foods is a well loved bakery all in its own.
